MOST NEEDED ITEM:Pair of Black Pants

Black pants, how I need you so. I'm such a monochromatic freak (Grey and I are, lyk, omg, BESTIES!), and I've been begging for a chic, well-fitting pair that doesn't look like I'm about to perform in an orchestra.

LIFE MAKER OF THE MONTH:

About 40 Thai exchange students arrived at my school 2 weeks ago, and I always become involved in the program. This year, there is one girl who I met who is extremely stylish. She even has a Miu Miu purse! My jealousy (well, actually, I only like Miu Miu bags, but that's for another post)! Anyways, here's the one thing she said that totally made me die...in a Rachel Zoe way:

Friend: "So, do you know who Alexander Wang is?"

Shocked, I immediately reply how much I love him. Yes, I have finally met someone in the flesh who loves Alexander Wang! This is how sad my town/life is.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! Believe me, after this hard week, I'm craving for it...

A Monthly Review- March 2009

Gosh, I'm a horrendous blogger. It's April 5th, and I'm doing a Monthly Review for last month. And commenting back...don't start there.

Anyways, I just came back from a trip to Upstate NY to visit family. It was an okay trip besides the horrible weather.

Okay, enough rambling Gin. Here's my post:

Tell the World- Vivian Girls

I have a sudden addiction to the Vivian Girls. They're not even that good, no offense. But, this song has been stuck in my head for at least 2 weeks. GET OUT OF MY HEAD!

MOST NEEDED ITEM:

Ecote Pyramid Gladiator Sandal

In my first Monthly Review, I post some studded sandals. These kick thoses' (gramatical error? Who knows) asses. LOOK AT THESE. Pure awesomeness crafted into a shoe. I'm in love.

LIFE MAKER OF THE MONTH:

OPI on Collins Ave. Nail Color

So, I got a manicure for the first time for my birthday with 3 of my closest friends. I had trouble deciding upon a color, and I picked this really bright one hesitantly. It is great! I love it so much. Of course, it's chipped by this point, but it really stands out against my grey wardrobe. I really recommend it.

A Monthly Review- February 2009

February went so fast that I forgot to post a Monthly Review.

FAVORITE SONG:

Norwegian Wood- The Beatles

Let me go to say that The Beatles is my favorite band of all time. And I've been listening to them so much lately, and I've fallen even more in love with "Norwegian Wood." Besides "Because," it's my favorite Beatles song, and this video has some really cool rare footage of the band.

A Monthly Review- January 2009

I thought it would be interesting to do a monthly thing on my obsessions of the month. I have no clue if it will work out or not, but I'll see what I can.

FAVORITE SONG:

Space For Rent- Who Made Who I was actually recommended the remix by Nat, and I loved the original as much too! It's so addicting. The lyrics may be not that amazing, but the beat is just great.

MOST NEEDED ITEM:

Ecote Studded SlingbackI saw these a while back, and I thought they'd be a great addition to my summer wardrobe. They're very much me, and plus, they're not boots, so my feet won't be dying this summer.

LIFE MAKER OF THIS MONTH:

Jay's Beautiful FaceMust love Jay from The City. And also, just for my integrity, I hate MTV, but I love The City.

(Oh, by the way, saw Bride Wars today. Surprisingly good! It was a really sweet movie, if you want to see it.)
